Beehave Honey Blonde Ale

Hopshire Farm & Brewery is one of the newer breweries in the Finger Lakes, and already one of the most celebrated. They brew a wide spectrum of beers, from IPAs to fruit beers to Scottish ales. Their intimate brewery is built into a hillside in the middle of a lush field; glance out the window and you’ll wonder if you just missed a hobbit traipsing by. Every Friday night, they throw a party at the brewery, where patrons enjoy beers, live music and good company. One of their best-loved beers is as locavore as a beer can get: Beehave Honey Blonde Ale. Edible Finger Lakes writer Amelia Sauter was lucky enough to talk with co-owner Randy Lacey over a pint.
